Russell Maroon Shoatz is a US-Held political prisoner and community organizer who has been imprisoned since 1972 and has spent over 30 years in solitary confinement. Maroon is now 77 years old and is suffering from Stage 4 Cancer, but the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections will not release him.
